Everyone just needs to keep in mind that with all these uncapped accounts Telkoms ATM/MetroNet, Exchanges & DSLAMS (not to mention IPconnect) will be under heavy pressure. So if you are experiencing slow throughput don't be so quick to blame Mweb, Afrihost, IS.... it could be your exchange (or link to and from)

Bollocks. Telkom did their homework pretty well and nothing wrong on their side.

The problem arises from the ISP's which are selling a highly contended service and as they add more users the available bandwidth to share amongst these users gets reduced. As for IPC it's still the ISP's responsibility to have a sufficient size pipe, it's not something Telkom dictates to them. If you think it's bad now just wait, it's going to get worse as they sign up more users, this is only the beginning

I know Telkom is 'evil' but this time round the debil is not at fault.
