Keeping directories at the top when sorting by name (Windows 10)

I sort things by having a date field [YYMMDD] preceding whatever file is being stored:



I want to be able to sort by name, and have the most recent item on top, but with the directories always on top of these! But then this happens:



Any ideas?

Click the Date Modified tab first then shift-click the Name tab to get the current list ordered in Date but still with the folders listed at the top.

Thanks - I had figured this much out, but the issue is that I may rename and date something based not on the current date, but something in the past, so the date modified field is not helpful in sorting things.

I found that this works:
Make sure you have Folder name included as a column first, then sort by the Folder name. Now hold shift and then click on the Name column and it should sort Asc/Desc accordingly while keeping the folders at the top.
