While Eskom’s sales volumes have declined over the last decade, costs and staffing have increased massively.

It'd take an independent inquiry to uncover exactly what the hell is going on at Eskom. At the moment they keep sweeping problem after problem under the carpet. Lying where they can get away with it, half reveals when they can't and denials when they feel no one knows yet. We're only seeing the tip of the iceberg
