Keyboard/Mouse on Xbox360?

Hi.

My friend has a XBOX 360. He invited me to play on it a couple of times. I don't get the joystick to work like I want.

Can I connect a USB Keyboard and Mouse and play FarCry or other games using that combo instead of the joystick?

I wouldn't mind a mouse either ; althought, tbo, it seems like n00bs have the hassles but it does get easier to control. Believe it or not, I've had mine since Tuesday and I've played it for about an hour - so I'm still a n00b I haven't even opened open two of my games

That said in the 1st hour my joystick control improved!

From all accounts that thing doesn't work very well at all.

Microsoft will never officially support a keyboard and mouse ingame either as they correctly think it will cause an imbalance in games

I suppose the good thing about that adapter is that you can use it to play with a ps2 controler too

Why? If you want to play games PC style buy a PC. For R4500-R5500 you can get a pretty decent gaming PC that really is an MCPC.

Although I'm still wondering what the wife would say if you tried to set a desk up in the middle of the lounge.

Why the frek don't these console builders use a freaking light pen?

A light pen is like a mouse, you point it at the screen, and it knows where it is pointing to on the screen.

I can go buy a R250 game from a Chinese game shop where I can shoot a freaking bunch of ducks on my TV with a freaking "gun" that is just another version of a light pen, but these morons cannot integrate a light pen into the controller? Pfffffffft!
