KFC Doritos Crunch burger

Well... I had one and won't have it again, a silly menu item that only marketing can dream up.
 
Why haven't they brought back the original Double Crunch sauce yet? You would think with how many people disliking the new sauce they'd catch the hint.
 
What was that thing they had that was like a burger with no buns ?
The breast pieces were on the outside with cheese and stuff on the inside ?
 
I noticed the prices have gone up again...

I think this burger and the Boxit meal are a sneaky to distract us.

My standard order used to be a Sweet chilli twister and 8 wings... used to cost just over 50 bucks. Its about R62 if you get those items separately.

The boxit meal is one main and two sides for R54, so you can get the twister and 4 wings + chips for R54
I didn't check but it might be able to get the same sides twice.... in that case its still the same price.

So I caved in and got two.
First one was okay. Literally put like 5 Doritos on it. It can't justify the price though. The patty was nice and fresh. The bun is quite tiny to say... They use the burger from the snack burger roll.
The second one was just horrendous and dry.

I was highly disappointed by my second crunch burger being smaller than the first one and this one is probably going to be even smaller to make up for the chips....
 
I don't get the small burger thing... they are not saving any money and it looks so much bigger with the bigger bun.
