KFC Double Down

Yes, curiosity got the better of me ... WORST decision of my life. It was disgusting :(

Maybe the zinger version would be a lot nicer,i sometimes just order a zinger fillet that they use in the burgers and they charge me R20 and its excellent.

I'm also keen to try it out....the turkey loaf in mcdonalds breakfasts tastes great so i hope this smoked chicken is similar.

Stick with 2 separate zinger fillets ... the white schitt and slices of wannabe cheese & smelly smoked chicken slopped inbetween isn't worth it.

Speaking of McDonald's breakfasts- they make the worst hash browns ever. It's as if their clientele are a group of hungover Americans almost exclusively...

Really?

I actually quite like them they are actually McCain's hash browns and were pulled of the market due to mcdonalds exclusiveness or something.....they have little pieces of actual potato in them unlike say Spars hash brown which are just mashed potatoes crumber in a flat shape.

I guess i did once find them disgusting when they were made very oily but if made right they are quite good imo.

Must have been the branch I've been to ... the thing was small, greasy, underdone and overall just a mess.
I prefer a bit of miracle whip with my chicken, not the other way around.

Must have been, after all the talk about how disgusting it was, I decided to go last night again (plus I didn't feel like much anyway). It was good. I compared it to the burger I bought as well just for good measure, and the fillet I got on the burger was crisp/oily/yuck compared to the 2 fillets that made up the sandwich.

Oh and the price is R44.90, I mustve been blind for a second or 2.

Not something I'll eat much of every day though, I'd rather make my own (non-fried) on a nice prego roll
