KGuard CCTV viewing app error

Anyone else suffering with being unable to view their KGuard camera setup? Couple of weeks ago a new version of the app updated via the Android app store and now I can connect to my DVR, but each camera gives a timeout 20012 error. Several comments in the app store confirming the same issue.

Extremely frustrating! Any known fix?
 
You try contacting them yet? Has some issue a while ago that they helped me sort out via email.

What you can try first, on your App try using the static IP(of your kguard system) on the APP ( while your on your home Wifi) to confirm you can see your cameras. This will mean the App is fine. Then you can start troubleshooting if your DNS is an issue.
 
i had a issue with the last update, where it lost the passwords, just edit the connection, and put the password in again
 
OK, so they posted a fix for KViewQR users after their last version broke things:

v4.3.2.8 users
If you have -20012 problem
Please refer the following step.
1. update android KViewQR to v4.3.2.19
2. In the DVR's "MAIN MENU", Find the "Remote Stream" in "Network".
3. Press "Default", then "Apply".
4. Now it should works.

This will take 8 analogue cameras and at least 2 IP cameras. The product does state 10 IP cams, but this is "up to 10 IP cams" and would only be possible by disabling analogue channels in the settings.

If you go with a 16 channel instead you could add more than 2x IP cams without disabling ANY of your analogue channels.

thanks, appreciate the advice.
Didn't realise that extra IP cams came at the expense of analogue channels
