Does anyone know when the new one wil be available in South Africa? I had a look on internet and it's coming out in June in the UK.

I watched a video review of the new Ceed last night on youtube so it is going to be released over seas extremely soon. I can't link the video as I am at work but it is there, the reviewer was very happy and it looks great.

It will probably be launched as the Cerato in SA and Oz next year. Looks like Cerato and Cee'd will be the same car, which would make a lot of sense.

That doesn't make sense... At all... There is already a older Cee'd available in SA, why would they rename the new Cee'd as the newer Cerato?

The Cee'd is not available. It is for Euro markets only. The Pro Cee'd was available in small numbers. It is stupid to have two C-segment cars, so making it one model is very logical.

Lies, work is across the road from a Kia dealership and I can see a Cee'd from here... I even walked past the car this morning.

And ps about the logic in having more than 1 C segment car... What about VW and the Polo\Golf plus Kia also has the Picanto, Rio, Soul and of course the Cerato...

Pretty sure those are all C class cars? Unless i am horribly misinformed?

You don't have a clue, do you? No time to start a pointless debate...

The only one you will see, is the Pro Cee'd... It's a 2 door. You will never see the one they use in Top Gear, which is the normal 4 door Cee'd.

Is the Pro a C or B segment?

In any case I do not think they will replace the Cerato with the Cee'd, and come to think about it I do remember reading that the new Cee'd will not be making its way to Australia, so pretty sure we will be missing out too?

Okay sure... It's C-segment.

We missed out with the original Cee'd my guess is we wont see the new one either. But I guess we'll see the i30 which is the same thing

Peter Schreyer has said that the new Cee'd is an indication of what the next Cerato looks like.

Also, if you look at this spy photo of the new Cerato sedan, please take note of the A-pillar an bonnet lines.

Now, look at the same lines on this Kia Cee'd SW.
