I am a young male just got out of varsity and got employed right away. I'm considering to get a car that looks my age. I'm 23 and I was considering getting myself a 2012 Second Hand Kia CERATO KOUP. Is this the Best Buy and am I putting my money on a reliable car? I'm not good in car engines etc but I'd height to get something that will give me problems on the road. I am at a level 3 or 4 Salary scale. So is it good quality? Does it drive smooth? Road noise level? Egine realiability? At what KM is a Second hand car good to buy?

If you had this car or your a car guru than your opinion is much appreciated.

I have this car and I can say that it's good value for money in terms of features vs price.

Reliability is good. Parts are pricey tho but probably in line with all new cars.
Fuel economy is terrible in traffic situations. 12-13 l/100km.
Open road fuel economy is way better tho and goes to about 7 l/100km.l depending on how you drive.
No annoying road noise. Car drives smooth for driver but Rear suspension is quite harsh due to it being a sports car and so people in back seats will feel it.

Most annoying items for me are the fuel economy in traffic and that only the passenger seat flaps down for people to get into the back. Would be easier if driver seat could flap easily for entry into the back seats.
And also no Bluetooth but I resolved this with a soundbot device from geewiz.co.za

You can get second hand models under 100k km. I wouldn't buy with more than that and make sure that it has full service history. You should be ok then
