Anyone experiencing problems like a colleague had with a corrupt database at Kia?

10 year warranty became 5 years.

Start year changed to over 10 years ago (car model wasn't even around then)?

End year changed to 12 years from start year (how did the system get that math)?

Warranty and service plan have start dates 7 years different? (would be convenient if they were end to end)

etc etc etc

I checked ith through for him and it seems likely the database itself has somehow been compromised as presumably the system doesn't allow such wrong initial entries and therefore integrity was damaged after entry?

Strange post..

Contact the head office customer care, they are very quick to respond and follow up. The how you can help tab on the facebook page also works well.

All of those details should be written and signed in your service book so you will be safe.

Seems like it was a strange experience too.

I checked this out with him last night. Seems like head office is where the corrupted information came from!

I assumed it must be more widespread, given the extent of the corruption.
