the KIA Club forum is starting to grow, have 16 active members now - any ideas how I can promote the site more to get members...

Allow people to view the posts without having to register. Sometimes to much of a schlep to register.

Hi,

The KIA Club turned 1 year old recently with 147 active members currently. It is a nice bunch of people with good advice, expierence and tips owning any of the KIA models.

I am in the process of moving the site to a local co.za domain but in the meantime if there are any KIA owners (soon to be owners) check out the KIA Club of SA site (KIA SA is also on-board and sponsored some hampers last year for Dyno days etc - and are keen to be part of the club events this year aswell):

Thanks

IMHO you should make it a Hyundai + KIA forum. It is the same company afterall.

Call it HyuKIA or something.

Why the need to register? :(
It's a schlep for people just wanting to browse the forum to see if it's worthwhile.

Good idea - I have updated the site in order for visitors to browse before making the choice to register

Hey intensive, glad to meet the guy running the show.
Very keen Kia noob myself, haven't seen much action on the Kia forum of late?
With the build quality and styling of new models I can only see the brand and thus form growing.
Would like to help? Getting things going.

Kia Diesel owners can now happily travel to Namibia where 50PPM Diesel has become available and it is already at about 95% of service stations. At the same time, 93 octane LRP was deleted from the Namibian fuel menu.

50PPM is also now in all major centres and on main routes in Botswana. Fill up with the good stuff and no fear of invalidating you vehicle's warranty any longer.

(Namibian "500ppm" was in fact much less sulphurous at 120ppm and that is why car sold there had no warranty issues, unlike cars sold in S.Africa)

I have to admit that Kia and Hyundai cars are out of this world. They are definitely the two best car makers in the world at the moment. What's better than ix35 and a Sportage (with a sunroof)? Perfect cars those ones!
