OK guys, if you have just been disappointed by WhatsApp for WP7 I really recommend you checkout Kik. It really is well made, super fast, and totally free (yes, that is kinda their tagline. WhatsApp is $2 / year).
It does have problems like every app - but it's by far the best thing out there.

Don't let that detract - the app does work fine, just isn't as high quality as it should be from such a big (in terms of users) company.
