Killzone 3 with Sharp Shooter Move Attachment

Eish um kZ3 R500, Move starter pack R600, Navi Controler (yeah you need/should have it), Sharp Shooter R499/R599 give or take R100 on each item depending on shop. I think there is a Sony Centre in Melrose try there. Otherwise drop in at eastgate, not that far from Sandton.
The generic one is not great, the navi controller plugs in the same grip as the trigger, so you navigate and shoot with the same hand is quite difficult. you will eventually land up getting frustrated with it and go get a sharpshooter so why not just save yourself the trouble and get the Big boy.

Thanks for the info. Will visit the melrose store during the weekend. Sounds like the whole package will cost around 2k? (move, navigator, kz3, sharpshooter).

anyone know of a shop in cape town where i can see a working demo of this? (if they have the bloody kinect being demo'ed at every shop, hopefully they'll have this)

So I picked up everything needed for this experience on Saturday from BT Games in Northgate. Move starter pack, navigation controller, sharpshooter, KZ3. Total was R2200 odd.

I don't play FPS games on consoles because I've always found aiming with those joysticks on the controllers unfsckencontrollable. Mouse and keyb has always been the way to go for me. But with the reviews the sharpshooter was getting and being a bit flush with the green at the time (not anymore), I decided to go for it.

Setting up the move is pretty straight forward and takes only a few mins. In the game, movement was quick to get used to - moving around with the navigation controller is very similar to moving in Wii games with the nunchuck. Aiming to shoot is much easier than those damn joystick controls!

Where I suck / get p1ssed off is:
1) aiming the view with the gun - more play time will solve this I think
2) I frequently found myself aiming the gun off the screen (usually to the right) to center the crosshairs in the game. Aiming the gun past the left edge of the screen kinda re-centers it but not perfectly. Not quite sure what to tune in the move config ...
3) The beginning of the game takes you through some basics at the shooting range. The last exercise I needed help with because I had to a) press-and-hold the move button and then b) press-and-hold the navigation trigger and then c) somehow pull the trigger. Does Sony know that people only have 2 arms?! HTF are you supposed to do this? Eventually I got the wife to come pull the trigger for me just so I could progress past the range.

The I'm-carrying-a-gun aspect to playing an FPS was cool! Reloading by cocking the gun is cool!
At this point, I'm a bit uncertain whether this is gonna work or not. It's cool enough to make me try get more used to it, but if I can't get the calibration right I think it may end up gathering dust.

Dude this should have been really easy. The move button is right under the trigger. So if you pull the trigger with your right index finger your right middle finger can pull the move button. Your left index finger can pull the navi trigger shouldn't be that hard.
If you struggle with small motor skills you can actually practice by pealing oranges works great!!

LOL thanks for that. Didn't know the button under the gun trigger was mapped to the move button ... just knew it as the grenade launcher button. Cool, hiding from the Helghast is gonna be much easier now :D

No worries enjoy!
