What did your duties come out to?
Also how is the outdoors reading, esp compared to an ipad2?
R336.
As one would expect from an LCD screen when used for outdoor reading. I haven't tried the iPad2 but apart from form size would expect something similar (?)
The purchase of an AZW is not reliant on device or location. Just follow the same process you usually do.
All LCD screens are definitely not equal when it comes to outdoor reading. It's something I'm particularly uptight about (due to predilection for reading in the park over lunch). iPad2 has the best outdoors visibility I've come across so far.
Not quite. You can't use something downloaded directly to the Kindle with Kindle for PC. I've already tried that...
Also, there are many books not available for purchase outside the USA if you don't have US address.
Well you are definitely not a candidate for a Fire then. I wouldn't be able to read for extended periods outside on the Fire. But I have also always struggled to read outside. Don't know if that has anything to do with it.
That only works if the cloud is available. I wanted to read a book, which was on my Kindle, on my PC as my missus was using the Kindle. I copied it to my PC and couldn't open it.I also use Kindle for PC or did before I got the Fire. I've just synced everything I've bought to date on Kindle for PC and it's worked fine. Am I understanding you correctly? Everything resides in the cloud and you just push to whatever device/application you are using at the time?
It's a publisher thing. If Amazon won't sell it to you, then none of the other US bookstores will either. Next time I come across one, I'll post the link (but there are plenty). The horror is, you can buy the paperback book and have it shipped to SA, but you can't buy the ebook (from the same publisher).I didn't know re not being able to buy without a US address. Odd. Could you give me an online store that has this restriction? I don't shop around that much and would be interested to see. I wouldn't think that the billing address and delivery address would have to be the same though. You could always spent 10$ and register with a site like MyUs.com to get a US address. Just for interest sake next time I buy I'll use the US delivery address and SA billing address.
I have a kindle fire - given to me as a gift - but what i actually wanted was a simple e-reader as i already own a tablet.
Any ideas where i can sell my kindle fire? It has been opened and i tried it out but i havent used it at all.
