Kindle screen

so someone I know , Kindle's screen is gone. Is there some place here that got it, or is it Ebay all the way. Its a black and white srceen.

All Kindle screens are monochrome.

If, when you say that the Kindle's screen "is gone" you mean that the screen is cracked or otherwise damaged, then replacement screens are available from China via ebay.

OTOH, if the screen is not damaged, then the problem may well lie with the motherboard.

amazon kindle support is awesome - regardless of where you purchased and if out of warranty - just go onto their online chat, they will probably send a new kindle and some discounted price, and if in warranty, maybe even free.

Out of warranty they are not that helpful. They will send you a 2n'd hand one at a very low price though

In warranty I have had my kindle replaced free of charge (Only had to pay to post mine back). 3 times.
