Well since the Move Released Today, This Is Going to be an all-out war hehe, again the fight of the Xbox vs. Thee Sony will begin, again.

So For Us Xbox users looking forward for the kinect i hope? Looks good and just hoping it’s a success and worth the money, no doubt I’ll be doing my research before buying.

For The PS move, that camera looks *** hehe no offence, but have to agree the kinect looks a lot more "slick" but as always performance is not based on looks

So We Shall See

All IL say is....Cheers to this new era of gaming,

P.S. Developers, The Controller Will NEVER DIE.

Dude WTF... spellcheck?

anyways, I'm a PC gamer ATM, but I think Move will win (even tho it looks like a dildo...) simply because it has more hardcore games being released for it, but Kenect has hope, I read yesterday capcom is developing some FPS for it, its not going to go far with wii-like games...

Yeah having just bought the Move (and now waiting for it to charge) I am interested to see how the Kinect would work. If it works like the marketing videos would have you believe it's worth the higher price IMO.

Yeah, they've sorted out the Kinect pretty well, apparently there is no more noticeable lag and it can now do full 4-person tracking.
We just need some better games to come out for it but the latest 5 additions are looking a bit more promising.
If they get more games then the Kinect will be quite a bit better than the Move.

Fixed Up Spelling:)

Agree With That, PS3 With Resident Evil Like Games Will Give It The Upperhand, But As You Mentioned The Xbox Will Have To Come Out With Some Pretty Good Games In Order To Be Above The PS Level, But We Will Start Seeing These When The Two devices Are Launched, I Followe MajorNelson On Twitter And There Are Some Very Interesting Develops From Japan Side As Shown At The TGL Expo There ATM.....Will Just Have To See

I think people need something in their hand for it to be more hardcore... Jumping up and down in front of a laggy camera will only spill your ice... but then again maybe it's the crowd that it was intended for anyways.

Blackjack I do believe in the moves concept where the eye can keep contact on the controller and works better in theory than the kinect working on your joint but will have to see I have heard some lag has been sorted but shall see

Yeah that would be nice but then you still need some sort of trigger to tell it when to be on and when to be off otherwise unnecessary gestures might do something unintentional. I was quite surprised that I could use the Move to navigate the XMB, quite cool but I still find the remote/controller an easier way of doing it. I do see it having positive results in assisting disabled people.

It uses a vocal cue AFAIK. Much like voice control on the Mac - you give it a keyword (I'm guessing just about everyone will give it: 'Computer' a la Start trek!)

Good point about assisting the disabled, very good point.

Well it really all depends...

Do you want to look like an idiot waving your hands in mid air or do you want to look like an idiot waving your hands in mid air with a wand?

The wand at least indicates to people that you are not having a seizure :D

well when the wand looks like a dildo... So I would take the first option ;)

For me this argument is like choosing between a Douche and a turd sandwich.

I think what they needed to come up with is something that is better than the wiimote. Instead what they did was just try and fill the hole that Nintendo was making for them.

I agree the standard controller will always have its place but there is definitely a new branch of gaming that is developing here. Sony and Microsoft just haven't brought anything new to the party, they are playing catch up.

Saw a Makro Salesman (not small, actually huge and well .... he need the exercise) try and have a sword fight with move. He made these slow and "huge" over exaggerated movements. What a spectacle to watch. (a six year old will pawn him in seconds)

They don't really. Well not any dildo I've ever seen :D

The only way they would not be playing catch up is if the Wii didn't exist. I agree though both Sony and MS were caught with their pants down, I don't think they realised what sort of market motion controllers had. Saying that, they both have come up with better technologies than the Wii, as it uses a camera for very effective augmented reality, on top of that you also have much better graphics. What is really going to be impressive is mixing technologies like the Move with flat-panel 3D technology.

Screw that.. If i could organise it to be a home automation gadget, the vocal cue would be something along the lines of "Hey Fscker..."

How much does the Kinect for?
