Good day all,

I would like to know if if King Price Insurance is a good insurance for a car. Is their claim process faster or you will experience difficulties when it comes to their claims?

i need general thoughts to those who have used King Price insurance before. I want to insure my car with King Price but i don't want to struggle with claims in the events i have to put in a claim.
 
give naked a try, was on king price previously,
wasn't harpy when they decreased my premium until they eventually just stopped on inquiry they just told me that is as low as we go.

so again insurance is a scam.

It was kind of my fault but also theirs, I changed jobs and this new job required my car to be used for business use.

Lets just say I fked up one day and they rejected my claim because my policy at the time was not for business use.

A good insurance company would have phoned regularly to find out if my circumstances have changed.

Lets just say I'm now R45k poorer from their lack of customer service.

There are a million different insurance providers out there.. what is king price offering that million others don't, that you seemingly MUST take insurance with king price..?

It's up to you to advise of any risk changes.

Me personally I would never insure through King Price

I have had various issues come across my desk where they were either wrong, not treating the customers fairly or just trying to evade claims.

Yet outsurance calls my dad every few months to find out.

Yes, I was ignorant, I didnt know about the whole business use thing. Now i know :thumbsup:

Avoid them. Wouldn't recommend.

simple, becuse you pay your X into their account in good faith every month.
and when you need it, then the stories start, then you used it for X purposes, you had Y driving and that wasnt covered.
your tyres were A worn so unroadworthy, your Brakes were worn to B degree, sorry try again.

and even when your car is totaled and sitting in their warehouse they will still manually charge you a premium even though your car is with them.
so scam, especailly with expensive cars.

Cos his Tazz is bullet proof and built like a tank, and also so damned rubbish nobody would ever steal it.

I have a feeling its mostly duct tape by now though.

Really?

*looks at my last 20 years of insurance* All the claims I've had to make I've only ever had one hiccup and that was due to incompetence on the side of the person capturing the claim.

maybe you were lucky, or maybe they simply decided you a good client who hasnt claimed in a long time,
myself they asked endless questions, even after id filled in everything as much as possible.

I think its more they decided you were a bad client...
 
A friend of mine had their car insurance with King price. When it was time to use their services it became very difficult.

After they eventually sorted out the car they changed from king price.
