Kingston SSD... Some feedback if you please...

Hey all...

Friend is thinking of getting an SSD for his 2010 13" Macbook Pro... is looking at 120GB minimum and budget is around 2K-3K. Mainly VB / SQL / php development using Bootcamp Win7 as well as latest OSX.

He is considering the Kingston SNV425 128GB SSD from Wootware for R 2,435.00.

I have suggested he rather gets the G.Skill FM-25S2S-120GB from Wootware for R 2,139.00. Sandforce rather than JMicron controller.

Any thoughts / recommendations ? Input will be greatly appreciated.

Neither choice is bad but i like g.skill, my 128gb has performance awesome.

Definitely go for the G.Skill one!

To give you an idea, my G.Skill 120GB SSD scored 7.7 in Windows Experience index, and the Kingston 128GB only managed 6.8 on a Core i7 980X.
