Has anyone else noticed that K'nect data doesn't last anywhere near as long as eg Vodacom's. The difference in price is crazy - +/- 95/Gb from Voda and 19.50 from K'Nect, but does K'nect actually give you a Gig for your 19.50 Buckses. And is there a technical difference in the "type" of data that different operators offer. I may be using all the incorrect terminology here but I hope you get what I'm trying to say?

If you have a router the data consumption should be recorded on one of the menus (provided that you don't turn off the router during the test). You should be able to compare this figure with the consumption that K'nect has calculated to see if they are similar or not. I would be interested to know if there is any discrepancy.

Maybe you are now using more data since it is cheaper? Or the signal is better so the YT videos run at better quality (thus more data used)? Maybe you turned on WA nightly backups? Many variables.

https://megsapp.com/ is even cheaper at R14 per gig if you buy the R350 for 25gb non expiry package.

What he/she said. I noticed that my monthly usage of about 100GB when I was on VDSL has changed to almost a TB on my fibre line. More speed + better quality + better content = more usage.
