The political change in the country though took place a generation to late for the whiteys. If it were earlier there would be a lot more white people that would've qualified to emigrate on ancestoral grounds. Zim2

This fool managed to turn a situation where everyone agreed that Werner Koekemoer may have mismanaged the eNatis contract into a racial "we" vs "them" thing ... where one race must defend itself against the other race. When will SA ever get over this crap?!

This Jimmy Manyi has a national higher diploma in economic geology - and then attended another diploma course: the Harvard Senior Executive Programme. Now he's the king of the Commission for Employment Equity and deputy prez of the Black Management Forum. Talk about "small amount of training" getting you far.

It really worries me that there as so many Jimmy Manyi's taking aggressive racially motivated stances in SA these days. In rugby this pops-up on a regular basis. It seems as if we'll never get over this - that South Africans will forever be devided based on colour - and that the colour that manages to maintain the highest numbers win.

How many non-whites passed higher grade matric maths since 1994?

There is a very good reason why higher grade matric maths is a requirement to study engineering.

The real problem is that there is simply not enough non-whites with higher grade matric maths to fill the vacancies where such analytical skills are required.

The fact is that the ANC has failed superbly to increase the number of non-whites that pass matric maths on higher grade.
