Koenigsegg vs Bugatti

[I
Im a die hard Koenigsegg fan, so Koenigsegg all the way.

The Koenigsegg One:1 looks insane.

Well with over 1000hp it might be able to stick with a Monza for at least the first few seconds in the race.

Pffft, too slow. Devel Sixteen... Now that is a car. Will post pic tomorrow when I'm in front of a computer.

the name Bugatti sounds like a noble italian wine, Koenigsegg sounds like a menu item from a german soup kitchen

I would rather wait for the Venom II to come out later next (IIRC) year.

Venom... Not a real production car :)

True.

But the record isn't official — at least according to Guinness World Records. Hennessey announced in 2010 that it only plans to make 29 Venom GTs (it's completed 11 so far). This decision means that Guinness will not verify the run, as it requires at least 30 units to be built in order for a vehicle to qualify as a production model, according to John Hennessey, the company's founder and president. Even if the Venom GT did meet these guidelines, the car would have had to make two runs in either direction to officially beat the Bugatti, Hennessey told the BBC's Top Gear. NASA, however, only allowed it to make one.

I would still pick the Venom as looks and power/speed/awesomeness it out classes both the Koenigsegg & Bugatti.

ps look at the Venom GT 2's predicted stats and specs:

There's one thing that John Hennessey and Jeremy Clarkson share a mutual love for: power. Or, POWWWWERRRR, in Clarksonese. This has just been proven with the new car announced in Hennessey Performance's lineup, the Venom GT2.

Not content with 1200hp that currently resides in his 2012 Venom GT, Mr Hennessey has decided to attempt to throw 300 (yes, THREE hundred) more horsepower into the GT2.

The 1500hp, rear-wheel-drive American hypercar is mooted to be powered by a 7.0-litre twin-turbo, and will definitely still shoot thunder. The now pathetically underpowered Venom GT only needed 2.2 seconds to reach 62 mph, and creator Hennessey has claimed it could go onto 272 mph. So to drive the new, more powerful GT2, your may need to have your man vegetables cast in diamonds.

The Veneno still trumps every car when it comes to visuals however the sound is utterly horrific.

This thing is just so much cooler than both:

The Bugatti is a truly special piece of engineering though. It produces 1000hp and its got the service intervals of a polo. That simply blows anything else out of the water. Sure it may be clinical, but its just so good. Das german engineering beats allas ya!

Lotec Sirius for me - been in production for a while now(10 years) - but still looks good...

God thats slow. Thats barely enough power to even get out of the factory in which its built.

Well, I wouldn't call it slow, but... One:1 is 2.8s estimate. Venom and P1 about the same. 918 is 2.6s. Huayra just over 3s, without racing tyres.

Wtf is with all these labels? There's supercar, hypercar and now megacar. What's next, superhypermegacar? :wtf:

Quantumcar. ;)

For sex appeal:

Ferrari 458
Lamborghini Aventador

For brute styling:

Lamborghini Veneno

For WTF-Factor:

Gumpert Apollo

For Style and Speed:

For anything else:

There's Mastercard & a Pagani Zonda.

Even the McLaren F1 beats the 458 in looks and the Zonda is just too long at the back for my liking. Oh and I have to agree with the Veneno, it's by far the most sexy car I've ever seen.
