And yeah if someone stands on a podium and refers to themselves in the 3rd person then they'd better be the fkin pope else I do assume they're dumb.

well,from the question, "who paid for your family holiday to Bali...Answer : "well if you bothered to check..." - As CEO you have your finger on the pulse of your business...what was lacking was PG, someone that can cut through the fiduciary technicalities that is used as defence/smoke screen, and once sliced up and presented in layman's terms...you can see the clear purposeful delinquency that aided the whole conspiracy.

I am not commenting on how well he answered questions, just the way some posters seem to be portraying him as arrogant and stupid. That is not the feeling I had about the whole thing. Some posters seem to be portraying him to be on the level of Bathabile or Hlaudi.

His referring to himself in the 3rd person is a level of arrogance. Its an attempt to subtly place oneself above those you are talking to.

I seem to remember him doing that only once when reading though some document, throughout the questioning from Mazzone, Gungubele, Swaart and the others he was not doing that, I really thing you guys are making a mountain out of a molehill here. I admit I did not watch all of the proceedings maybe it was a big issue but certainly did not seem like that to me, the questioning seemed very civil to me and I don't seem to recall the chairperson having to interject as is usually the case with such inquiries. As for the dumb thing I really have no idea where that is coming from, I agree with Ngwe, some people just have the tendency of saying that someone they don't like is dumb.

More a case of someone that is so deep in it and has not reached that moment of self realisation...better to come clean, than to continue with the illusion. Think that all changes when you in the dock and facing a prosecutor that is going for the jugular..

Bathabile - all you getting from me is ....:crylaugh: is she on something or someone give the woman a drink! - but she is a league of herself.

On the dumb front, I 100% agree with you. Koko is hardly dumb... and I really don't like him anyway.
 
Eskom now agrees that the disciplinary hearing was a sham.
