KR 6000 ups

I suggest start at the supplier ACDC and good luck with their cr@p website.

yea dc voltage of 192v you would be better off building a diy battery

ie 16x 12v batteries to get going that explains gifting

so if you can get 60x 25ah lifep04 3.2v cells you would end at the 192v and have a 4.8kw battery
or 9.6kw with 50ah cells
and have to be ultra careful building that battery

and dc is dangerous and even more so the higher the voltage goes

importing the problem is going over R20k or 3 shipments per year lands you in needing to be registered as an importer

nmc cells drops the cell count down to 52 cells with it's 3.7v
but i would not want nmc in my house garage maybe

the charge time is slow ie can only recharge about 2.7kwh in a 4 hrs session with higher stages
so if your usage is less that you can just rely on internal charger

if more would have to struggle to find a 192v charger to pick up the difference
so building bigger battery than 4.8kwh might be a waste if you can't get a charger

pricey mppt to add solar

so a person can make it work but if wanting to expand later with solar niche products makes it expanse
though batteries can be restructured to be used on lower voltage inverter later

Or just raid it for parts for other projects? That's what I did with my 72V. Sometimes just accepting that what looked like a score is actually useless is much better.

yea so true just finding a bms would probably be a pain
and most likely too costly

i mean even if you think the cheapest cell would be R75 and you would need 60

so R4500
if it would even start-up with 5ah it would net you just under a kwh
so could power tv and internet through 4hrs

edit:
it should but just playing devils advocate have seen a ups do a battery amp test at startup and go into fault mode if the battery can't supply the needed amps , different brand MGE think it was german manufactured by Schneider Electric google says

doing this as a first step would be a a real deep end dive into diy battery
