Okay, I assume the engine is the 2.0 TFSI. But 177kw does not sound far off the specs for it.

I assume Ariel and those type of manufacturers have been making a killing if KTM decided to go into this market. But this has a DSG option and being the talent-less, lazy driver I am, would take this over the Atom. :D

IMO, these type of "cars" are strictly track day toys. You would be crazy to use them day to day.

They would have said Turbo engine if it was turbo right?

Where does it say that?

it says:
The 1500-pound car has a four-cylinder Audi engine offering 220 horsepower in the base model, and a potential 300 horsepower in a more expensive variant.

But this is with slinkys link...

here you go...

KTM was able to gain Audi AG as its partner in developing the drive unit. The four-cylinder TFSI engine represents the X-Bow’s construction principles in an ingenious way: by featuring lightweight, high-performance and intelligent technologies.

That LSG sequential gearbox on the 300 any good?

They really need to work on their website. :D

I know, their website sux.

Ive seen the car run at Zwartkops the other day, one of our family friends own the yellow one. And believe me, that thing goes as hell, and its road legal.

PS. The Atom is not road legal in RSA, something about the windshield being too small
