Kudos to Dell

My lappy is now 2,5 years old and has given me excellent service. Had the mobo, LCD and frame around the keyboard replaced earlier this year. Last Friday I contacted tech support and today a technician came to replace my keyboard and LCD bezel frame. The keyboard has been giving intermittent problems on the control keys. The bezel got damaged when a rubber plug came loose and I tried to stick it back with super-glue. The plug ended up stuck to my finger and I spilled glue on the frame, leaving permanent damage Service was fast and professional just like the previous two times I requested service from Dell. Can't imagine buying a different brand ever again

Yeah I've always had excellent warranty support from Dell.

Good to know it's the same as in the UK. I ordered a laptop battery that took longer to arrive than promised. Dell sent me another by 24 hour courier. The first one arrived one day after the second. They told me to keep both - £65 free.

Yo! That's a bargain ;0-) My only gripe is that the online support chat, which I used previously, was not available this time. Regarding service, subsequent to the arrival of the the tech, someone phoned me bright and early to tell me the tech is coming after 12 PM. Just after that the consultant that I dealt with on Friday phoned me and later the afternoon his manager phoned me to follow up and hear if I'm satisfied.
