Kudos to Telkom

Got up Sunday morning and found our telephone line dead which meant no adsl
SMSed our phone number to Telkom's fault report line, 30591, 10 minutes later we received an SMS acknowledging the call with a reference number and approx 2 hours later a SMS saying the line was fixed and hoping we are satisfied.
Wow, for a Sunday and we live out in the sticks, this was most amazing.
Well done Telkom

lol, just shows how bad they really are if our mindset has us thinking like that..

Nope line was fixed and everything back to normal.
Just thought I'd give credit where it was due.
Believe me I nearly fell on my back

I think they were already working on the exchange and then they just closed your fault.

Both our landlines went down too and also sent a message [used two phones] but didn't get a reply saying it was fixed but glad the turnaround was quick .

I also noticed they now send you an SMS asking all sorts of questions including the technician's name whose come out and how you felt about them helping. I like this alot.
