Currently, I have a D-Link KVM-221. (1) is my MacMini via dvi-vga and the other is my macbook via display port-vga. This thing is acting up and it may be time to replace it. First prize would be a DVI KVM but I can't seem to find one from a legit-looking site. Second prize would be just another VGA device. Most of the VGA devices I find are PS/2, which means nothing on a mac - I need USB (if at all, since I do not use the K-M part of the device anyways - I just need to switch displays).

Any advice or recommendations?

You get the basic d-link 2 port KVM's with usb but I have not seen one with DVI.
Same double tape ctrl or num lock to switch between devices.

I bought one from Rectron sometime last year. Was usb and had the audio cable as well.
Can't re all the exact model, but think it was KVM 222

Edit:
DLINK KVM 222 bought from Rectron .

You need to specify usb, as both the PS2 and usb version used the same model number at that stage. Not sure if it changed.

OK - so how do I buy from Rectron? They're distributors.
Ask your local small PC shop to order for you maybe?

... meanwhile PC-Link claim to have stock (never used them) - http://www.pclinkshop.co.za/?option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1&view=productdetails&virtuemart_product_id=13443&virtuemart_category_id=88

Next time I'm at Esquire I'll ask them to physically check if that PS2 stock code isn't actually isn't a USB, seems odd as quality PS2 keyboards & mice are like hens teeth nowadays.
