Anyone with experience with these switches.
I have one that our company provided from some supplier - seems to be a no-name product.
Problem is this - it cannot display the correct resolution nor ratio from a laptop.
I have tried 2 different screens, a 16:9 and 16:10 (19" and 22").
From my desktop, it provides the correct resolution for the screen.
But from the laptop, it does not give the ratio.
Funny thing is that if connect the laptop directly to the either monitor it works perfectly.
Also, on the 16:10 monitor, it gives me the option of 16:9, but when i change the monitor to 16:9 it does not give me that ratio again.
Is it the switch? Can these switches handle notebooks.
Otherwise anybody know of switches that can take a laptop and desktop.

I am going to try another laptop to see if it gives the same problem.

Have used KVM switch for years and years without issue. Get a quality device.
My year-old Aten DVI Dual View 1644 works perfectly. Four PCs attached, dual 24-inch displays, wireless kb, mouse and webcam shared without issue.

Are any of your PC's a notebook. The switch works fine with desktops.
