I bought one on Thursday, with the 3 months free Netflix & 300GB data x 3mo Vox special.
I've just connected it. Very quick and easy set up. Netflix is sorted. I just can't figure out the free 300GB data pm from Vox.

Update: doesn't look like I qualify for the Vox thing.

I bought one but have not been able to redeem the free data from VOX. I have been dealing with VOX support for over two months now and they have not been able to sort it out!! How difficult can it be for them to redeem it manually. This was one of the reasons I decided to go with Kwese.
Also, it was disappointing to find that the Kwese software does not have a PLEX app. If I am not mistaken the generic ROKU player does. I can access the PLEX media server via DLNA but that's just not the same.

While the number of channels on offer has just gone up to 231, there is still NO Plex channel (app) available on the Kwese Play... even though the Plex channel (app) has been available on Roku devices for ages!
It is obviously a Kwese Play management decision NOT to offer the Plex channel (app)... Disappointing!

Can anyone confirm whether you can load the Plex app on this Roku. There are conflicting reports about this on Google. I already have 2 generic Roku's running Plex and I need a third one (for my son's bedroom). I was thinking I could save 3 months Netflix subscription, but Plex is a must.
Get a Roku from Amazon - it's cheaper and you know it will run Plex.

A Roku Streaming stick will cost about as much as a Kwese. And offer you much more functionality.

Is Amazon cheaper than GeeWiz? I bought my previous Roku's from them and got it the next day. The Streaming stick (3800R) is R995.

Any idea which 231 channels they offer (apart from what they offer in their ads at the moment?). They are incredibly secretive about which of their channel offerings are free and which are paid, so it's kind of difficult to make an informed decision on to buy this or a generic Roku? Their website is also very basic and does not really give you any real useful information and it's almost never updated, so it's pretty much a buy in the dark kind of purchase. I'm looking to access channels that is available overseas, and not so much on African content, as I have other streaming services I can check out for African content available in Africa? Can anyone add channels manually? If they also don't have Plex, Kodi is probably also not going to be available, I guess??
Yes, it is cheaper from Amazon but you won't get it as quickly.

Hi folks. Just to confirm: Still no Plex available on the Kwese device? I took it as a given but if not I better cancel my order immediately!!!

Cancelled my order with Mantality within 90 minutes of placing it - was charged a 15% "Admin & Restocking fee". Tsk tsk.
