Hi all

I will be travelling to KZN on the 20th for business for 2 weeks.

Office is located in Pinetown. Last time I was there in 2016 I stayed at the Premier Inn which was a dive.

Are there any good hotels in the surrounding areas? I've been told Kloof and Westville are not too bad.

I could always stay Unhlanga side but I'm not keen for the commute every day.

TIA

Kloof and Westville are definitely fine and there are generally enough restaurants and such around to keep you happy as well.

Avoid anything in Pinetown in terms of staying unless its a decent looking BnB

There's some really nice and fancy B&Bs around Kloof going up into the Midlands.

Personally if I were going to commute to Pinetown I'd rather commute from the Midlands than from Umhlanga

You must be confusing Upper Highway with Midlands, Midlands is Howick and surrounds. There are a few B&B's in my area which aren't to bad (Padfield Park) which is Pinetown. Alternatively Kloof / Cowies Hill / Atholl Heights / Westville.

Guess so. It's all the same to me "Places where there's a fark ton of mist in the winter"

In terms of getting to Pinetown in the morning.. the Summerhill one will probably be easier, but the Bentley will be easier to get to all the restaurants and such in the area
