KZN Authntication Issues...again

Yeah I think Musgrave is also down, as I can't http or ssh into my Linux box at home.
 
Musgrave is down - Can't get to either of my ADSL accounts with two different providers.
 
I have a client in Mayville with authentication probelms as well. I have tried to report this to telskum but can't get through on any numbers!!!!!!
 
not sure if it is me or Telkom but i'm have problems in La Lucia
 
Nation Wide Problem Says Telkom

HI.

I have had clients calling from central Durban, Westville, Pinetown and Hillcrest. All went down at about 9am.

After 35 minutes, I eventually got through to Telkom and got the following:

There is a national Network Failure on the Telkom Network. They are working to resolve the problem and can not give an answer as to when it will be resolved.

:D So, when are Neotel going to be giving Telkom some competition with ADSL?

I am still connected but want to change accounts. Should i risk it?
 
Some Clients Running again

I have clients in PTN back online. Not sure about the rest yet.

I wouldnt risk changing accounts now. If you are connected, dont take a chance as you probably wont reconnect.
 
Central Durban Still down

My clients in central Durban are still down.
 
Hillcrest fine for me all day, IS and SAIX, home and office.
 
Had an authentication failure in Kempton Park as well from 8am.... On both IS and SAIX accounts.

Back up now.
 
Im in Hillcrest and been down since this am...If you are still on perhaps when you are reset that will be the end of it.... until Telkom sort themselves out.
 
I am in Assagay and we have been down since Monday LAST WEEK, but that was due to a modem issue (after Telkom tried for 3 days to get it working again and gave up), so we resolved it on Friday, now we come back to work today and Telkom is stuffed up ... again.

How are we supposed to do business?
 
im in westville my adsl is working :)

edit: oic its only authentication thats the problem.....

Although, hmm, I think we should be refunded for it. As if.

If you have a call logged with Telkom and a reference number they will give you a refund. I had various problems with my line when I initially received it and they refunded me almost a whole month's rental cause of me keeping the reference numbers.
