Want to have a beach holiday in KZN in January once it's quieter. What areas should I be looking at? Want to make the most out of my tiny budget.

Looking for a nice, safe swimming beach where one can easily go for a sunset walk. Closer to Durban would be nice.

Thanks in advance.

Hmmmmm swimming beaches there are plenty.

Areas I'd say are safe for sunset walks gets trickier and more expensive.

Are you looking for a hotel or BnB

Hoelsboer munster, gate onto beach

Wait until February. It is going to take the authorities the whole of January to clean up the beaches.

It's very quiet now because of the kak weather

I prefer North Coast , Ballito area . The walkway stretching all the the way from Willard Beach down to the southern end of town makes for a nice stroll, with enough watering holes and restaurants inbetween :)
