What does your road look like on the map? www.telkom.co.za/wholesale-web/demand-register/
I dont understand this. It says I am elegible for 20MB VDSL, but yet I sync at ADSL only and not AdSL2+. Am I missing something on how this works? If VDSL is available, shouldnt ADSL2+ also be available?
Hmm, could this be why my line has been dead for 6 days? Or is this my usuall quarterly downtime.

Fault was logged on thursday morning 9am. I tweeted TelkomZA on thursday afternoon asking them to escalate or do something as i needed the line on the weekend. They only responded on friday night and said they escalated, it's now almost wednesday and havn't had a line for 6
Keep escalating bud and make sure you put in a claim/dispute for non-availability of service to get credit on your account. Once it is resolved of course. Hello Peter normally gets them moving too, as you well know.
Good luck...
Where do you put in a claim?
I don't think it will work as the line rental is in Afrihost's name and they must apply for the credit. You first have to be registered on their site and have your account linked to your registered ID.
The you go here:
https://secureapp.telkom.co.za/eportal/eBilling/createdisputes
This is where you log a dispute about your billing, be sure to include all your fault references and details about what happened.
I've never had a problem with this working 100%.
