Hi Guys,
My sister bought a Samsung LA32B530 from Hificorp about 2 years ago.
She recently told me whenever she switches on the TV, the volume bar keeps showing on the TV and as she tries to switch the volume up (from 0) - it goes straight back to 0.... and the volume bar keeps showing.
According to some research I did on google, this seems to be a 'known problem'... some people say, removing the back panel as the volume button might be stuck or pressured has fixed it... other people say the mainboard or whatever they call it... has to be replaced...
I tried most things (besides for removing the back cover/panel thing)... but was wondering if any of you had similar issues at all? and if you fixed it - how?
The LCD is out of warranty apparently after 1 year, although she bought it on credit... so I thought - if taken out on credit... isnt there a 'forced to take out extended warranty' policy...
Anyway, she went to hificorp, the dude at the counter looked up her purchase and said her TV is out of warranty nonetheless....
Any ideas? Tips? Fixes? etc etc...
Any help would be appreciated....
Thanks guys
