lacie desktop hard disk

Hi guys

any1 one hav a lacie external hard drive, can one open it? i know it will void the warranty, what hd is inside? make, ide or sata? is it a normal hd??

If it is a relatively new drive, it should be SATA.

What do you mean by a normal drive? as opposed to what?

that it is it a seagate, western digital, my plan is to take the hd out and use it inside a pc? would i be able to do that?

I am sure you would be able to use it inside a PC. Even if it is not a WD or a Seagate.
