Lady Troubles

Ok guys, a friend of mine contacted me over the weekend and told me his problem.

This is it:

He works with a lady (in the same building) and she is very nice and friendly too him on various chat platforms. Great online chats etcetera, which sometimes last hours.

But when he sees her face to face, she is not that friendly at all. Kind of says hi and sometimes appears even irritated. He says she even avoids him too. But will say hi and how are you if pressed.

He then feels kind of weirded out. Then chats on say gchat to her, and then she is super friendly again and nice. This has been going on for a while now.

Has anyone experience this? Any advice?

Its not like that, I know you don't believe me. But its about friendship and wanting to know why a person is happy to chat to you on gchat, but not face to face.
