Just chatted to the guy and it appears the above is the issue. She digs him and out of respect is holding back.

Only problem now is that the guy now sees this as a challenge. Don't know whether too laugh or cry for the dude :D
 
Oh this is going to end so well :p

I once had the same problem with a guy who was engaged and all the while trying to score with me - I ended up telling his fiancee just so he would lay off. They broke up, he never spoke to me again after that. How I love happy endings :D
