Hi guys

I have been connecting via the LaLucia Base Stationsince that tower came up over a year ago with 99-100% signal coverage. Since yesterday (04/01) 4pm I am only getting around 5-10% signal  .

Do you guys have any idea what's going on with that basestation. I know for a fact it's been giving us a lot of problems for the last two weeks  .

Hi

Just like 2 weeks ago, the Notice Board was only updated after 2 days. There is nothing posting on the Noticeboard at the moment.

It's not a problem on my end. I even tried taking my notebook outside along with the EXTERNAL Antenna ;) and still the same!

Went to the extent of doing a remote login to my server that has a desktop unit and same issue. I tested my card on another notebook, again same issue.

I wonder what's going on:confused:  ... I did speak to Ed Hall this morning... usually when I speak to him things get fix within the day.

Usually when there's a large problem with many customers being affected, they put it up there. I'm not talking about small time problems.

Hi there

We have been checking this base station. About 80-100 users are currently and bandwidth readings (bear in mind that this is realtime, and some users may be connected, but inactive) range from 10kbps to 900kbps. The range is wide and users are getting stable connections. We're not seeing any signal issues from the base station itself.

This does not mean that there is anything wrong, so we continue to investigate. It would be helpful if there is anyone else experiencing the same problem and to let me know...

Thanks
Ed

Hi

Update:

I am still experiencing the same problem. I got 30% signal yesterday for about 30 min and then back to 5-10% reception.

Is there anybody that's futher away that normally picks up reception from this tower? Please let us know urgently. Ed it looks like there might a problem with the long range signal as my Area is definately covered, I double checked the coverage map last night.
