Solid experience as a developer in the following:
● MVC patterns & framework
● Sophisticated understanding and significant experience of PHP
● Advanced knowledge and experience of JavaScript
● Understanding and experience of JQuery and Bootstrap
● Linux sys admin, specifically Centos: SSH remote sys access
● Advanced application of CSS and HTML
● Experience of implementing APIs
● Experienced in MySQL
Desired:
● Understanding and experience of Zend Framework
● Experience creating mobile websites
● Experience creating admin UIs
● Experience using code sharing repository such as gitHub
● Experience working in an Agile methodology
What will you do?
● Building modules to satisfy the ever growing functional requirements of the company.
● Formatting different content types to make them optimal for each platform.
● Managing a number of development and live sites.
● Testing and QA.
● Building dynamic user interfaces.
● Creating technical documents (technical specifications, procedures, code, lessons learned and know-how) and making them available to colleagues in a collaborative space for the team.
● Supporting junior developers.
● Influencing more efficient use of technology to improve the user experience.
● Delivery against tight deadlines.
● Working with community managers, project manager, UX specialist and content producers.
