Hey Everyone, I know this may not be your type of singer, but my new addiction seems to be Lana Del Rey, her music style is very melancholy which relates to me most times lol. Her two albums that are out are:

1)Ride
2)American
3)National Anthem
4)Video Games
5)Lucky Ones

What do you think of her?

She reminds me of my days growing up in the 60's.
 
Although I knew about her for some time, I only started listening to her music about a week ago - along with Sleigh Bells (no, not the Christmas type). Two dramatically different musical styles, but I'm loving both of them.
 
Very good voice, would like to hear something a bit more mature with real instruments. Her current "beats" are a bit tiring and not good electronic music at all.
 
Love her music. Ride is an awesome song. She calls her music something like a gangster Nancy Sinatra.
Some music videos look like shampoo comercials, but artcy.

Been listning to her for a while now. Heer dad is a billionare and got her into the industry. She had nr1 hits across the world before she even had a CD out.
 
voice reminds me of tammy wynette, mouth reminds me of julia roberts.
she can sing and she's pretty.
but i feel she's a bit overrated.

5/10 for singability
3/10 on the happy meter
4/10 on the "something different" meter
2/10 on the lyrics meter
 
I may have heard one or two of her songs and don't really care for it honestly.

Will see when it crosses my path again and put some listenting time into it - but won't go out of my way.

I really like her, I am quite amazed at her voice though, in real life its so high pitched and in some songs its deep. +1 for that!
 
Nostalgic

The opening guitar strum of "BLUE JEANS" gives me goose-skin everytime. "RIDE" feels very 70's. Contemporay music culture as a whole, would be incomplete without her input. IMO.
