Langa (Cape Town) ADSL Problems.

[Over-Dose]

For the past few months I have been experiencing frequent intermittent connectivity, where internet will just stop working. Modem used to show a red light, or just restart itself. Now it just restarts when connection is lost. It happens very randomly and usually during the day (but sometimes after hours as well). Have tested different modems and same issue persists. Other ADSL users in my area have also reported issues with their ADSL reliability.

Logged countless faults, that Telkom would clear after "a technician has attended to my fault". Up until two weeks ago, after my phone jacks were replaced and filters checked, it seems to be behaving less erratically. Fewer line drops, but still there.
