Hi

Some advice from experienced users would be appreciated :)

My laptop upgrade is due, I have a choice between the Lenovo Thinkpad T470, Lenovo Yoga 370 and the Macbook Pro.

I want something different, i already had something very similar to the T470, I want the Macbook Pro but I dont know if it will be good for me as a Project Manager? In terms of software Compatibility, battery life and overall is it a big change?

Also I heard that some developers use them and i was surprised

What are your suggestions?

Please advise

Thank you

Honestly none of those I would go with Dell personally. Mostly due to support on the devices. I am not a fan of core or partserve.

Do you own, wear or look like any of the following pictures?

If you answered Yes to any of those, get the Macbook.

The company provides the laptops, I can only choose these models:erm:
Check if there is a Mac version of the windows software, if there is then take the Mac

If there isn't then take the yoga 370, I'm not sure but as a project manager will you have to carry the laptop around and show the team the work on your PC? If so then you can transform the yoga into into tablet or make into a stand for the screen

Depends on size if you want portability have a look at the "DELL INSPIRON 7370" with the new 8th Gen Core architecture , the i5 Version has 4 cores and 8 threads so its very fast, if you dont mind the size get a "DELL INSPIRON 7567 FIRELORD" in Black, Both of those will get you some respect in IT Circles , unlike the Mac.
