I'm looking to replace my wife's laptop, budget under R50k and looking for a workhorse that isn't too heavy for her.
The Lenovo X1 carbon seems to tick all the boxes, specifically this one:

But then for R9k less I see there is this one:
Only difference I see if the cheaper one has a worse display and smaller ssd - guess it's a personal choice, but how big a difference would the more expensive screen make. I use a Macbook Pro, so hoping the more expensive screen is at least as good as the Mac's retina display.
Lastly, anybody used the above site before - or can recommend a place that may have better pricing?
