..or, for about as much usefulness:
- how long is a piece of string
- what is the sound of one hand clapping
- /etc.
...dude, you can get laptop batteries of ALL sorts, ALL over the place!

So now: what battery, for which (make & model) laptop? ..it gets a whole lot easier to answer meaningfully with these details at hand!

That said, besides the local (probably expensive-as-hell, but hopefully at least new) option, there's also PCHub you may want to consider for (used) batteries.
