Hi folks,

I am looking to purchase a new laptop with the following specs,

Win pro
15,6" screen
i5, ideally i7
1tb ssd
12gb ram or above

Who are the best guys to contact? All advise is appreciated.

What is the general consensus on the ASUS P1511Expertbook i5 11th gen, Win 11 pro, 16GB RAM & 512GB ssd, with second ssd dock

Your problem is going to be the RAM there is very few offerings under R16k that offers 16Gb ram or higher.

Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming is a good bet you will get this but just know they give a TON of motherboard problems and Lenovo isn't a good/nice company to deal with but if you are on a budget then this is as not to bad.

Just a note a TON of my customers was not happy with Lenovo's support and is why I personally avoid them. I know it is a bit of a discouragement but I rather tell you the truth so you know.

What's your budget? Look at Dell add 3 year onsite.

Thanks, thsi purchase will replace a Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E520 I have had for 11 faultless years.

Win Pro is a prerequisite.

What are your views on Asus & HP in this price bracket?
