Hi All,

Where can I find a replacement charger for a Mecer Expression laptop either from a jhb or online store?

Charger details
HIPRP - hp-ok065b13
Output 18.5v 3.5a 65w

Any risk with universal chargers?

It really depends on how old the laptop is. You must remember that Mercer is not an international brand, it is whatever cheap Chinese unit Mustek found in the east and slapped the Mercer name on. If the laptop is more than 2 years old then you'll be hardpressed to find an AC adaptor for that model. Your best bet would be to take the laptop to a computer store and find a universal adaptor. You should have any issues if you find the right one and most come with various fittings to fit a range of laptops.

Try http://www.laptopaccessories.co.za/, they should have a suitable replacement. If you can't find an exact match, email them with the details of the supply and the laptop.
