Is it possible to upgrade a laptop CPU?

I'm getting a laptop from the insurance this week and I am a bit sceptic on the processor the laptop has got.

I can't really find alot on the latop but I was able to find this datasheet on it.
Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo v6535. As far as I know I get the T3200 processor with it.

I can't find too much info on it. But would you buy this laptop if you could?

Is this a replacement notebook from the insurance?

The T3200 is a very low end CPU.

Upgrading is possible but you have to make sure the notebook's cooling will cater for a higher end CPU, and it will void your warranty.

check out Notebookreview.com's forums, there's a forum section for that brand, and there are lots of folk there who have done upgrades IIRC.

Yes, the T3200 is quite low down. It's also a Dual Core if I'm not mistaken, not even a Core 2 Duo. Take a look and see if the motherboard supports a Core 2 Duo processor though and also which it does support.
