I picked up an ECS G551 laptop for nothing - the m/board was apparently flashed with a bad version from the manufaturer's website - any ideas how to fix this?
Who would be able to assist in JHB (Randburg area) - as I may need to either get a new BIOS chip or have the esisting one reflashed. I have two file versions of the BIOS that are known to work, but I don't have the hardware to do it - any ideas?
