My laptop crashed on me recently so i re-installed windows 7, but now it keeps turning of without warning, error message nothing.
I really dont know what the problem is im hoping you guys can help me. oh and my web browsers(chrome, firefox) get really really slow and sometimes freeze up when im loading a page.

Im using The Qosmio x300 from toshiba.

Not enough info.

Did you install any new drivers or software recently that may have caused it?

Have you tried loading XP instead of 7 to see if the problem happens on XP too?

I installed my normal drivers which worked fine and before the crash i used windows 7 for a long time with no prob, then after the crash i installed vista and thats when the switching of started i then installed win7 and it seems the problem is not sorted.

ok im running some hardware monitor to check my temps and heres what i get.

CPU- Min:62 Max:78
GFX- Min:91 Max:97
HDD- Min:46 Max:46

gfx is running damn hot, cpu is "hot". depending on your laptop model and/or hardware, cant help
The temperatures are very high indeed. Get someone to check the fan and heatsinks on the CPU and GPU - might have worked loose. For the record, specs according to Toshiba are Core 2 Duo 2.53GHz and nVIDIA 9700 GTS.

Or the vents are clogged up. Try and clean them out and maybe get yourself one of those laptop cooling bases.
