Laptop help

Laptop Acer Travelmate 8100 screen has gone, apparently its the pcb invertor or some such and no spares are available, is this true or can somebody direct me to someone in the Cape Town area that might be able to help with such an issue, contact details if available would be nice.

I take it your backlight has gone and the display looks blank - it can be fixed fairly cheaply
